Our 2022 Stationery Advent Announcement

I am so excited to bring back our advent calendars! We did our first one in 2020 and it was so much fun. Unfortunately due to limitations of school, I couldn't find the time to make one for 2021. I am honestly glad I decided to skip it despite having some of the pieces already designed, because advents are also a risk on the customer's part in not knowing what they are buying. The last thing I want to do is disappoint someone right before the New Year! Anyways, for our 2022 advent, I started conceptualizing and working on this project for nearly 5 months now, and I am so proud of each item in this bundle.
General Information
Preorder Starts: September 19, 2022 9am pacific time
Preorder Ends: September 25, 2022 9am pacific time
Price: 49.25USD (retail value 60USD+)
Processing Time: 6-10 weeks
While this is advertised as a preorder in which every customer is guaranteed stock if purchased during the aforementioned preordering window, we actually already started production 3 weeks ago! If in the case that more advents are preordered than what we expected, we will just arrange for another production batch. Either way, there is no missing out as long as you shop between September 19-25!
If you are curious about the 2020 advent, see my unboxing below! There are some notable differences for the 2022 bundle, so I will address those points below.
Advent Contents
Well, sharing the contents would completely defeat the purpose! But to help you with deciding on whether this advent will be for your taste, here are some notes:
- There will be 5 rolls of washi and 7 other various stationery items included.
- Nothing in the bundle will be winter or holiday themed.
- The best way I can describe this theme is that it'll be about self care and self kindness, although most items are not so rigidly stuck to this theme.
- The main colours are hinted in the cover graphic!
Each item in the advent will be pre-packaged individually either with a paper bag or paper box. The packages will be labelled with the advent day (1 through 10) as well as the suggested opening date.
Advent Opening
If you want to join-in on opening the advent gifts with other stationery lovers, we will be doing so in the official advent facebook group. Note that this is a separate from our main facebook group as we want to avoid spoilers. In the advent facebook group, we will be making a post on each of the opening dates with the official photo and a brief description of the item!

Hi Helen, over the past month or so I’ve had my IG full of TCMC posts mostly from your customers and followers tagging you. I’ve jumped onto see that your shop is on a break but didn’t see why, I have checked in a couple times and still didn’t notice your explanation post. I just came across it today, and I want to say a huge THANK YOU for doing this. I think this decision although as difficult as it may have been for you was probably the best. I’m not a customer yet but please know that when you reopen I will place an order and happily await to receive it but more than that I will say that I value your thoughts and decisions as the shop owner of TCMC. I’m a huge fan and don’t even have your products yet! 😂 This is customer service at its best thank you!
