Robert Oster Signature is an Australian ink company, famous in the fountain pen community for their quality inks. When I first started using fountain pens in highschool, I spent many hours browsing the range of Robert Oster colours, making a wishlist of inks I hope to purchase one day. It is surreal that in 2024, I got the opportunity to work on this project with Robert himself, and introduce these beautiful shades. Speaking of which...

Robert B. I inked up my Pilot Elite E95s, extra fine gold nib with the Day to Night ink, and it’s amazing in my 2025 Hobonichi Cousin. It’s a gorgeous dusky plum color, does not feather, minimal shadowing except where I laid ink down heavily, and no bleed through. See pics. Look higher for the TWSBI Eco, fine nib with Private Reserve Tanzanite for a comparison example of notable bleed through. Highly recommend this ink for Tomoe River paper.
