Forgotten Iced Coffee - 30mL Esterbrook Ink (1 per customer)
It would be wrong not to have an ink to match! Another part of our collaboration with Esterbrook is this ink bottle. I actually knew what I wanted the colour of this ink to be before I knew what I wanted the pen to look like!
This was my exact description to Bryan in one of our first emails: "For context, I wanted the ink colour to represent "forgotten iced coffee" or "leftover iced coffee" that may be sitting on someone's tabletop 😅 Basically when one gets so engrossed in writing that the ice melts. A big gross but also quirky!"
On some papers, this ink shows-up as a taupey brown while on other papers, it leans more grey. It has no shimmer, but it is an excellent shader! It is not waterproof.

This is my favourite ink, a beautiful latte like brown that works every time no matter the nib size.
The packaging alone is adorable—I couldn’t wait to ink up my new TCMC x Esterbrook fountain pen with it! The shade is a warm, easy-on-the-eyes brown that feels comforting and classic without being boring.
It’s not overly wet, but the flow is just right—smooth and steady. What really makes it special is the subtle shading throughout; the variation in browns adds so much character to every word.
I’ve been using it in my APICA Premium CD notebook with zero bleed-through, which is always a bonus. Overall, it’s a charming, reliable ink that makes everyday writing feel a little more special.

I love the subtle light brown of this ink. It also dries fairly well in my Hobonichi and can be shaded into a deeper milky coffee color. <3
I thought I liked the surprise shading in the RO Coffee Monsterz ink — I absolutely LOVE this Forgotten Iced Coffee ink!
Sometimes it’s a taupe feel, and sometimes it feels green/gray. Shading happens instantly, and from all my nib sizes — even an EF! Flow is so easy, but not so wet you limit your nib size. This is not going to be “a brown ink.” It’s called “forgotten” and the color(s) deliver - not what you expected your coffee From An Hour ago to taste or look like…Don’t drink this…but it still looks and performs so well.
This collab ink might very well be my favorite. And paired with the Estie, the surprising color that lays down when writing or doodling is an absolute delight.
