Cancellation policy

Cancellations

We do not want you to be stuck with something you do not want, so we will try our best to process cancellation requests. However, cancellations are not guaranteed. If an order has been shipped, or already packaged but not yet shipped, we will not be able to cancel the order. Please email thecoffeemonsterzco@gmail.com or contact us as soon as possible. 

There are several exceptions, such as but not limited to:

• Preorders: Preorders can be cancelled freely during the advertised preorder purchase window, but they cannot be cancelled after the preorder purchase window. We use the funds raised from preorders to produce the items, and the items are reserved for each order.
• Digital products: Purchases of downloadable products cannot be refunded if the file has already been downloaded. If duplicate copies are accidentally purchased and they are not intended for more than one user, please send us an email.

Returns & Exchanges

We do not accept returns nor exchanges for our products. We want you to be happy with your order, so please do not hesitate to email thecoffeemonsterzco@gmail.com or contact us with your concern, and we will get back to you within 2 business days. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery for any product concerns.

EU customers have the right to request a withdraw within 14 days of delivery for any reason. Please see the EU withdraw page for more information and the contact form. 

If for some unique reason a return or exchange is approved:

• The return shipping cost is covered by the buyer, unless the return is due to an error we have made.
• We recommend adding tracking to the return parcel, as we will not be able to help with recouping the costs should the parcel get damaged or go missing during transit.
• Please include a note in your parcel referencing the order number from which the product(s) are being returned from.
• Once the return has been received in brand new condition, a refund will be issued immediately to your original method of payment.
• The original shipping cost will not be refunded, and any damages or use of the product will be considered and possibly deducted from the refund total.

We only accept returns at the following PO box. If a return is sent to any other addresses which require further transportation back to our office, the customer will be responsible for a 7CAD service fee.

If a return is sent without any prior communication and agreement, a 5% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. The original and return shipping costs will not be refunded.

Preorders

We often host preorder events, in which products are manufactured after orders have been made. Most preorder products have a disclaimed processing time of 2-3 months. Preorder products are clearly labelled, typically in multiple spots across a product to ensure customers can be fully aware. Preorders can be cancelled before the preorder event ends, but not after the preorder event ends. 

Misfit Items

Items labelled as "misfits" are discounted products. While some misfits are good products that are simply out of season or discontinued, most have some blemishes that do not meet our standards for our store. These blemishes can be, but are not limited to:

• Slight misprints
• Small marks (e.g. scratches) on the products
• Slightly misaligned cuts
• Previously used as a tester or for photography
  

Misfit products are clearly labelled on any relevant products. We do not accept returns nor exchanges for purchases of misfit products.
