How do Potato Points work?
Potato Points can be earned in various ways, mainly through purchases. Each dollar spent earns you 1 Potato Point, and accumulating enough points can earn you freebies and coupon codes! To view all ways you can earn and redeem points, please click the grey Potato Points widget on the bottom right corner of your screen.

Can multiple Potato Points rewards be redeemed in one order?
Yes, but there are several asterisks.
- Customers may use a maximum of 5 codes for 1 order. This is Shopify's built-in limit.
- Customers may use only 1 sale code or 1 shop credit code for an order. This means customers are not able to get 10% off, while also applying a $10 off code for the same order
- The $5, $10, $15, and $25 shop credit codes redeemed after our updated program, can be used in conjunction with redeeming freebies.
- The $5, $10, and $25 shop credit codes redeemed prior to our updated program, cannot be used in conjunction with redeeming freebies, due to settings we can't edit. If you have a shop credit code from before March 1 and you would like to use that with a free product code, please send us an email so we can make you a new code!
- Gift cards are treated as a payment method and not a coupon, so it does not count towards the "5 codes maximum" rule.
How do I see what Potato Points rewards I have available?
- Log in to our website.
- Click the grey potato points widget on the bottom right of your screen.
- Underneath the points balance, click "Your rewards".
- You should get a list of your unused rewards and a list of your previously used rewards.
- Click one of your unused rewards and copy the coupon code!

How often will Potato Points freebies rotate in & out?
There isn't a set schedule, but just to throw a number out there, customers can expect the freebies to be available for at least 3 months (but likely longer). If I am ready to retire a freebie, there will be a banner on the product as a warning.
The exciting part about the new points program is that I have much more flexibility in terms of offering new freebie rewards and different types of freebies! If I get a random creative idea for a freebie, I can just add it to the Potato Café without needing to make announcements and such 😄 After we get comfortable with this program, I have some fun ideas for special stationery items as higher tier rewards!
What are beans? What are bean cards?

With every physical order, we included a free card with our bean card program on the back. On the header of most sticker sheets, there is a coffee bean sticker which customers could stick onto the shaded areas of the card. Filling-up a card with 21 beans would get customers a free sticker sampler with their next order!
Do Potato Points & reward codes expire?
The points and coupons do not expire! You can take your time accumulating points and there is no rush in using the redeemed rewards either.
When did the bean card program end?
February 28th, 2026 @ midnight pacific time
Up until the aforementioned end date & time, customers may redeem their completed bean cards with orders!
Unfortunately, we will not be accepting any bean cards after the aforementioned date & time.
Why is the bean card program ending?

The bean card program is a concept I came up with before I designed my first sheet of stickers, 10 years ago 🥹 It has been a really unique part of TCMC, which is why it greatly pains me to say I have decided to end the program on February 28, 2026.
Moving forward, I will be focusing on the potato points program. I will be adding a selection of vinyl stickers, sticker sheets, and other fun rewards which customers can redeem on the website using points.
This decision was made as an effort to reduce a big part of my workload. It is quite taxing to record-keep: especially with stickers purchased at retailers, being traded, gifted, and unfortunately, photocopied. On new release days, we typically receive 500-800 emails, with the majority being for bean cards. While I have a rockin' assistant working alongside me, we still get very overwhelmed each time 😔
It is very hard for me to take things slow voluntarily, because I truly love working on TCMC so much 😭 I am very, very aware that this is stepping away from the charm that we have, towards something automated, and I am so sorry. I would not have made this decision unless I felt it was necessary for me to continue in the years to come :(
I hope in the long run, with a lighter workload and a lighter mind, I can give back in other ways. I hope to indulge in my random creative ideas, chat with everyone more, pack orders, attend more in-person events, host workshops, etc.
Can unused bean cards & beans be converted into points?
Unfortunately, no.
This was something I considered as it would be the most favourable to customers. However, the reason we are ending this program is due to how overwhelmed we have been. Adding further conversions and calculations into the foreseeable future would complicate things further, so this is unfortunately a selfish decision I have made :((
Will the sticker sheets still have a bean sticker? Will orders still come with a card?
Yes and yes!
Stickers will continue to have the cutie bean sticker on the header. You can use it to decorate coffee-themed spreads, use them as bullet points, mark café dates, or even shifts as a barista!
Orders will still receive the journaling cards, but the backside will not have the typical bean card program section. Maybe I will write some short stories, doodle some comic strips, and other fun stuff! Although, I think I will continue to call these cards "bean cards" 🥹

Do you have any coupon codes?
We have the code POTATOPACK available all year for 10% off orders over 10USD. We occasionally run sales for special milestones such as our shop anniversary and for my birthday. I recommend for you to join our Facebook group and stay tuned on Instagram as I announce sales on those platforms first! Our newsletter at the bottom of the website is another great way to be up-tp-date on large events.
Note: Coupon codes must be applied before your payment goes through and the order is confirmed. We cannot apply codes retroactively!
Do you take custom orders?
At this time, I am unable to physically take custom orders. This is due to time constraints of university and general shop duties.

Can you ship to my country?
Most likely, yes we can!
The only exceptions are temporary disruptions due to natural disasters, war, or other global issues. As long as Canada Post and USPS are able to service your country, we can ship to your country.
When will your Etsy store reopen?
Our Etsy store has been closed for quite a few months by Etsy and I do not see much hope for reopening.
For transparency: When I first started my business on Etsy, I was 15 (a minor). Complying with Etsy guidelines, my mom opened an account for the store and we have been using this Etsy store for the past 8 years. In 2024, Etsy requested for an identity verification and while I could have asked my mom to verify, I requested for a change of ownership since I am no longer a minor. During this change, I mistakenly wrote mistyped my last name (I know, I know...) so Etsy could not verify my ID. Unfortunately, Etsy has not allowed me to fix this typo in my last name and thus, I was not able to verify my identity.
So yes, this is an unfortunate lesson :((

How long will it take for my order to be packaged?
Our default processing times are 1-10 business days for regular orders.
During new releases and sale events, the processing times are extended to accommodate the influx of order volume. Please check the announcement bar at the top of our website for the most current processing time, prior to ordering. Any estimate written on the announcement bar overrides this 1-10 business day estimate by default.
- Preorders: We sometimes run preorders on specialty products. Preorders typically ship in 1-3 months, but please check the individual preorder listing for the processing time.
- Subscriptions: Subscriptions are shipped on a set schedule, regardless of when your subscription order renewed. Please see the subscription tab on our website for more information.
Can I cancel or modify my order?
All orders are final sale and we are not able to make further adjustments after payment confirmation.
I used the wrong address when ordering; how do I change it?
Please email thecoffeemonsterzco@gmail.com ASAP with your order number and address directly. However, I cannot guarantee that we will be able to adjust your address in time so please double check before ordering. Another important caveat is changing your default address of your account does not reflect an order that was already placed. As sellers, we ship to the address you submit your order with so please always email to change your address!
If your order was already shipped with the incorrect address, unfortunately we do not have any ways of intercepting the transit to change the address. It's likely that your order will get returned to our PO box which in that case, we will contact you to discuss reshipments to the correct address.
Can you combine two orders into one shipment?
During normal periods (i.e. we're not hosting a sale event), please do not hesitate to send an email to thecoffeemonsterzco@gmail.com to see if we can combine your orders for you! It's likely a YES :) We allow a maximum of 2 orders to be combined.
If we do combine your orders, any shipping overcharges will be refunded to you when the order ships so you save some money!
Note: Please do not leave a request to combine in the note of your second order; always email first! We pack orders chronologically so the packer of your order will not see the note in your second order asking to combine.
I noticed my order number is skipped over! What does that mean?
Whether you are in our Facebook group or whether we are currently updating our order number trackers, sometimes there may be situations were it seems like we skipped over your order! There is typically a very little chance we actually skipped your order, so here are some possibilities:
- Your order contains preorder products that have a processing time of up to 3 months
- Since we work with multiple couriers to ship our packages, pick-ups and drop-offs happen at different times during the day. For this reason, there might be a few hours of lag.
- We might have contacted you regarding an issue!
- Other customer for some reason had their order combined, so their later order was skipped over to their first order.
If none of these are true, then please feel free to email us and we will look into this for you!

Where can I track my order?
By default, orders are shipped by an affordable untracked, letter mail service through Canada Post. If you would like the safety of tracked mail, please select the upgrade at checkout or feel free to email thecoffeemonsterzco@gmail.com for inquiries.
If you did purchase tracking, you can track your order directly from the shipment notification, or go into your account history and click into the order you want to track!
How long does shipping take?
Transit times depend on numerous variables such as your location, the season, and your chosen shipping method. Below are rough estimates based on past shipping experience.
Canada & USA
- Canada (domestic) ... 1-14 business days
- USA (untracked lettermail) ... 8-25 business days
- USA (tracked parcel) ... 4-10 business days
International
Please note that these are the typical wait times. There are many unpredictable factors with international shipping and wait times may be longer.

- Australia ... 2-4 weeks
- Asia (most) ... 2-5 weeks

I have not received my order yet; what can I do?
Please firstly refer to the transit time estimates in the above question and calculate the transit window for your order from the date of shipment. If your order does not arrive within the transit window, please send an email to thecoffeemonsterzco@gmail.com with your order number and we will assist you the best we can.
Why is my tracking number showing an error?
Tracking numbers usually take 1-2 business days to fully sync-up everywhere. If your tracking is still not working after the buffer period, please email thecoffeemonsterzco@gmail.com for assistance!
For international orders, tracking may take ~1 week before it starts fully working. This is because we partner with a third-party shipping service that has to internally transport the packages first before it gets sent to your country.
At TheCoffeeMonsterzCO, we value service speed but also honesty. We only send-out shipping notices if your package is already out the door or will be out the door the immediate morning.
Why do some orders require tracked shipping?
We offer a cheaper lettermail shipping method and a tracked parcel shipping methodfor most countries. This gives a cost-friendly alternative for our customers. However, some orders cannot be sent as lettermail:
- Orders that contain non-paper goods (e.g. washi tapes, pen pouches)
- Orders that contain thick paper goods (e.g. stacks of cardstock)
- For Canadians, orders that are over 2 cm thick
The above are regulations by the post office.
Do you accept returns and exchanges?
In most cases, we do not accept returns nor exchanges. If there is a problem with your order, please email thecoffeemonsterzco@gmail.com and we will do everything we can to help!
For voluntary returns, such as due to accidentally ordering the incorrect product, you may return the product in an unused condition to the following address. It would be best to email us beforehand so we know to expect your return. Upon received and inspected, a refund will be issued. Return shipping is not covered for voluntary returns.

Please kindly do not use our USA PO box for returns. If an order is returned to our USA PO box, there will be a $7 fee deducted from your refund.
Any returns over $100 will incur a 5% restocking fee. Any returns over $300 will incur a 10% restocking fee.
Will there be customs, duties, VAT, etc.?
Canada: Domestic orders do not incur duties.
USA: Orders under 800USD do not incur any duties. If ordering over 800USD worth of items, please split them into two orders to avoid being dinged a 5% tax upon delivery!
International: There are different rules for every country. As a general guideline:
- Orders consisting of only stickers and other flat paper items that are sent as lettermail will not incur taxes.
- Orders consisting of bulky items and/or that are sent as packages may incur taxes, depending on the country.
It is the customer's responsibility to know the import rules of their country and purchase accordingly. Duties must be paid by the customer. Refused parcels will be refunded less shipping fees and a 5% restocking fee.

Is it normal for most of your washi tapes to be sold out?
We are currently expanding our storage space to accommodate regular washi inventory, however as of now, washi tapes are mostly only available through preorders and special event releases.
So when can I purchase your washi tapes and other sold out items?
The majority of our washi tapes are sold through preorder hybrid events. A preorder hybrid is when we first sell the stock we have on hand, but if the design sells out, a "preorder" button will be enabled. Customers can then preorder the design in unlimited quantities, usually for 2-5 days.This ensures that all customers are guaranteed the product, as long as customers are aware when the preorder hybrid events are.

Do you ever bring back old designs?
In previous years, no.
Starting this year, I have started to either bring back old designs or at least a revamped version!
I try to be intentional with my releases and I only release things that I can vouch is my best work. For this reason, I cannot say that I will be able to release all old designs into the wild. Some of them, I simply don't love anymore. Maybe I will love them again if I redo the artwork! This is all to say, old designs may come back, but it will be done so intentionally.
